Renal Cell Carcinoma Trials: Guidelines & Eligibility ASCO-FCR Trials

In this poster, Anna Odell discusses the studies for treating RCC. "Evaluation of eligibility criteria in contemporary renal cell cancer trials based on ASCO-FCR recommendations.". She emphasizes the need of carefully choosing patients for clinical trials based on the specific molecular and genetic qualities they possess, and she describes the many types of RCC, including papillary and clear cell RCC.

Anna goes on to discuss the many stages of RCC as well as the many treatment options that are currently accessible. These choices include surgery, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy. In general, the film offers insightful information about the present status of research pertaining to RCC as well as the significance of clinical trials in the process of expanding treatment choices for people afflicted with this form of cancer.

 

I favor gradual progress. Including a diverse group quickly would be difficult. But, in future studies, such as my urothelial cancer research, we may be able to assess patients and determine if we can conditionally include HIV-positive persons, who were previously excluded. We could check their diagnosis and medication. Modern technology can help us solve problems and find new solutions.
